| About Us Meteodale Technologies is a company specialising in the sale of outdoor books and maps. The full range of OS products are available as well as a massive array of books from multiple publishers. Any book or map that is in print we can provide for you, at a discounted price. Meteodale came about by my life long activity in cycling and walking, exploring and using maps on many long arduous cycling expeditions into the Alps, Pyrenees and the Scandinavian Arctic, (One such adventure being 5000 miles in 8 weeks on a bicycle back in 1990) and throughout UK using OS maps. I was often accompanied by a pannier full of OS maps when competing for the CTC Super tourist awards and posting them back home when finished with them. The name Meteodale came about from 'meteo' which is due to my interest in meteorology and the 'dale' due to my love of the countryside. Therefore, due to all this map reading I started the business on Ebay, became a powerseller gold and now a top rated Seller. This means we provide a high level of customer service and fast despatch times over several years. My family includes Veronica my supportive Wife and two daughter's aged 3 and 7 years. As a family we have tried and tested and enjoyed many walking books to completion. I am now doing the Pennine Way and further walks in Yorkshire with the family. I have been an analyst programmer for 11 years after gaining my degree in Business information systems and I am 46, at least for this year. | Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. We accept card payments. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone, fax or by post. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake. When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
| Shipping And Handling All shipping, packaging and handling is already included in the price and it is FREE. We do not ship to addresses outside the UK. |
| Delivery Schedule Any orders received before 16:00 Monday to Friday will be despatched the same day, unless the item is not in stock. You will then be notified by Email or Telephone. All Items are sent by Royal Mail First Class or other appropriate carrier. Most orders are received the next day but can be up to five day. Delays can also occur during bad weather, strikes, Christmas, Holidays and other extreme events. Orders are not despatched on Sunday. You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. |

| Guarantee All items can be returned within 28 days, with some flexibility. The items must be returned in a re-sellable condition and as received, undamaged and unopened and unused. A full refund is given on receipt back to the office. Any items that are clearly flawed or with publication faults can be returned for a full refund or replacement. |
